NUMBER CRUNCHING:
The low point. Unfortunately for
the series it came during February sweeps. With regular competition back
and UPN and Fox very competitive with movies, all four WB Friday shows
commanded their lowest ratings of the season, or close to them. The biggest surprise is that
"Star Search" does not seem to have the same pull it has on
Wednesdays in its first Friday outing. Fox was better with a movie in
for "Fastlane", UPN was not as strong with a Jim Carrey movie.
