NUMBER CRUNCHING:
Again, the WB
Friday receives a bump from CBS, as the quartet of shows is looking much
better than the fare from last year. CBS announced the hiatus for
"Presidio Med" (its second), which doesn't bode well for the
series. "America's Funniest Home Videos" has a
better-than-average week.
A number that has improved for "What I
Like About You" over the season is that of male teens. Obviously
the increased romantic activity of Amanda Bynes and the playing up of
her physical beauty of late on the network promos has paid off big for
the WB, which really needed to bring more male teens into the
tent.
