NUMBER CRUNCHING:
Generally the numbers aren't picking up,
and that is due to the minimal promotion of the series on the WB. "Mister
Sterling" got an incredibly good initial sampling, and with an audience
dropoff of some degree expected (as well as a somewhat randy storyline on the
staring-to-fade "Fastlane") the numbers may pick up next week.
"Sabrina" lost ratings points from last week's repeat telecast..
Competition "48 Hours Investigates" is getting much better
ratings for its 10PM Wednesday airings, so don't be surprised if it
vacates its Friday slot.
