Labour,
I hereby accuse you of criminal hypocrisy in your activities in relation
to Pay Equity.
I refer to the Pay equity taskforce: Terms of Reference ( http://www.beehive.govt.nz/ViewDocument.cfm?DocumentID=17023
)
- It is criminal, because it aims to achieve the massive transfer
of wealth from men to women, as a result of a corrupt process -- in
other words, it is daylight robbery;
- It is hypocritical and sexist, because it attempts to reward women
for the choices which they freely make as to what (cushy) jobs they
want to apply for, and it attempts to punish men for the job choices
that they make.
- It is hypocritical, because it will do nothing to address the fact
that males are prevented from entering the Police force if they only
achieve the physical performance standards that suffice to allow females

. There may well be many other such sexist barriers to men in the
Public Service. I wrote to you requesting a meeting about this, but
you fobbed me off onto a Police Headquarters official. This is a serious
Bill of Rights issue, and you, as Attorney-General, are seriously
negligent, as well as sexist, in not taking this issue seriously.
- It is also hypocritical because it ignores the fact that men's work
is often more dangerous than women's work -- ninety percent of workplace
deaths are male deaths -- see: http://www.osh.dol.govt.nz/hazards/stats/fatals/fatals01-02.pdf
, where this fact is relegated to a mere footnote. Since you are the
Minister responsible for that webpage, you are also responsible for
this callous downplaying of the sexual imbalance of workplace deaths.
This added danger deserves a premium, in the form of higher wages
for men.
- The above "Pay Equity" document assumes the existence
of a "gender pay gap" which has not been shown to exist.
Its first line states: "The Taskforce will advise the Government
on how the factors that contribute to the
gender pay gap...."
- The process has been corrupt. The nearest thing in New Zealand to
a Government attempt to demonstrate the existence of a Gender Pay
Gap is the Ministry of Women's Affairs document: "Report on public
submissions to 'Next Steps Towards Pay Equity'" (http://www.mwa.govt.nz/pdf/nextStepsTowardsPayEquity-submissions.pdf
) , but that document systematically ignored all points made and issues
raised by the two men's groups that made submissions. That is typical
Feminazi behaviour, as exemplified also by Joanne Morris's paper "Women's
Access to Justice, which the Law Commission refused to publish under
its name, because of its grotesque bias against men.
- For many years, Feminazis had been using their control of the media
and of the education system to spread the myth that women earn less
than men because of discrimination. The Men's Movement has now forced
even the Feminazis to admit that this apparent discrimination is due
to women taking time off to have children. As the National Party's
Judith Collins (who is not a Feminazi, of course) said, "Most
women choose to be mothers -- me included. Most women accept this
will adversely affect their incomes for at least a decade...."

Postscript
Another reason that men's income is in general higher than that of
women is that male-dominated
unions are much more active than female-dominated unions in pushing
for pay rises. Whatever you
think of industrial action, it brings results, and it involves effort
and sacrifice on the part of
union members. I was once told by a (female) long-time secondary teachers'
union (PPTA) activist, who is
married to a meatworkers' union official, that men in the PPTA are much
more militant about getting
pay rises than the women are, which is why it is men who have tended
to lead the PPTA into
industrial action.
That is why the female-dominated primary teachers for many years had
lower pay-rates than secondary
teachers, until they got the Government to allow them to parasitise
all the hard work done by the
PPTA -- i.e. the Government pegged primary teachers' pay to secondary
teachers' pay.
As in times of war, we have the females sucking the blood of the men.
