Reassuringly, the Genetree report gave the same
results for the six markers of Hypervariable Region I as
the Relative Genetics report did. In addition, it provided
results for the four markers of Hypervariable Regions II and III.
The row labelled "reference" is the Cambridge Reference
Sequence, an arbitrary set of values which is used as a basis
with which to compare results.

These results place me in Mitochondrial Genetic Haplogroup T2.
Interestingly, it seems that my direct maternal ancestry is possibly
very close to my direct paternal (Y-Chromosome Genetic) ancestry,
which is Armenian. The two main sub-clades (i.e. descendants)
of Haplogroup T (which occurs in 10% of Europeans) are called
T1 and T2. Sub-clade T1 is less common than T2 among Europeans
-- it is most common (at 5%) among Armenians.
Sub-clade T1 is also "considered a good marker for the expansion
of farmers from the Near East into Europe. As populations carrying
the T1 subclade came into Europe, they brought both their farming
and domestication techniques as well as their gene pool."
