Mr.R.M. Stead, currently facing possible deportation from New Zealand to Zimbabwe, is hereby awarded

the New Zealand Equality Education Foundation Hero Medal for the year 2003.

This medal is awarded to Mr. Stead in his two capacities:

1) as a representative of fathers past, present, and future, who suffer at the hands of the Family Court;

2) in recognition of his activism in favour of fathers generally -- see his article: Protection Order.
