                        "AMANDA" -  A TRUE STORY

Amanda had been forced into giving oral sex to her father when she was four and full intercourse by the time she was six.  Afterwards she would often be beaten up or worse.  This had gone on for eight years and was followed by a series of her mothers boyfriends, using her as they saw fit.  Then just after her thirteenth birthday , she was forced to drink Vodka by her mother and one of her mothers boyfriends.  She was then to be raped by both of them repeatedly and in the morning, when she awoke in her mother's bed, her mother had left the man to do as he desired with her while she went down to make a cup of tea and chat to her sister.  Only now does Amanda tell her own true story. Some of the events described happened while Amanda was still on the risk register and under the nose of her social worker.

Amanda gives her very explicit account of this time, providing an important insight into the abused childs point of view and of how Social Workers failed to protect or help her.  She reveals how both the police and social workers, failed to get the full details of what had really happened to her and how she continued to live with the mother whom she had protected out of fear of breaking up the family during the investigations.

This is also the true story of an unexpected and powerful love that developed, when an unsuspecting man of over fifty, later came into the family to help the mother and be a father figure to the three children who had previously all been sexually abused by their natural father.  This at the time, being all he knew of their history.

Gradually the love between the man and the daughter of the family grew but not in the way that either of them had expected.  Suddenly just before her nineteenth birthday, some two and a half years after they had met, he realises that he is hopelessly in love with her and his father role in the family must end.  He breaks the news to Amanda with surprising results.

The first science fiction book of a series of four.  Based in an epic war and set in a land of deserts, hidden cities, fortress's and rebel armies, in a mix of modern technology against
futuristic conformity, justice will be written by the victors.
The story explodes when a group of musicians called the Findars, that belong to an isolated race in a secluded and forgotten city, attempt to attract the publicity of the people, by joining an exploration team, journeying to the outside barren world.  But things don't go as planned and things aren't as barren as the people of the isolated city were lead to believe.
The rulers of the city, war veterans from a war fought against the outside world long ago, aren't too keen on the people of the city finding out about the outer regions of their land and not wanting the exploration team to come back, exile the group and point them in the direction of certain death.
The leaders of the city named North Kurserder cut all publicity on the televisons of their city and according to all reports, the journey has been stopped dead.  The members Bassin, Brooky, Collete and Joe Bem have unwillingly become the best hope for a safe and future world. Thrust upon a seemingly dead planet, the group of fifty explorers are forced to fend for  themselves and have no idea of the dangers that await them. Meanwhile a race of menevolent beings, try once again to enforce slavery apon the human race and track down a hidden race that has eluded them for years.  But the group are destined to free their world from the overlord grip and the group set off in to the desert and among the journeys and battles team up with renegade humans and try to overthrow the surrounding races. With the humans and North Kurserders finest brought together and with their common goal being freedom, the battles esculate in to an incredible war when they stumble upon the enemies, (the Higher), main base.
A victory seems unlikely for either side but the surprises never stop.  New weapons and methods change the war in to a collision of hope versus destruction.  The fate of the planet is held in the outcome of one sacred war and only one race can decide that fate.  Whether it's Humans, Kurserders, Highers or the GoreRaze that emerge victorious in this war on what appears to be a dying planet there are no winners, just one final cry for justice.
Their past is hidden under a shroud of history and only fate can decide their future.
