Rebel Troop Cards

Alliance Light Regiment (Replaces Army Regiment)

On average, a Light Regiment is usually made up of 1,235 live mount troops, 1,215 Sullustan troops, 180 speeder bikes, and one squadron of T-16 "Skyhoppers." Live mount troops and mobile speeder bike infantry can strike swiftly with great precision. Sullustan troopers, though weak physically, can still put up a fierce fight. T-16 Skyhoppers are fast and manuverable but are weak air units (a couple well placed blaster shots can put one out of commission) whose effectiveness is determined by the caliber of the pilot. This regiment is excellent for garrison duty but fairly useless in large scale military campaigns.

Alliance medium Regiment (Replaces Fleet Regiment)

A Medium Regiment typically includes 1,245 Alliance Fleet Troopers, 1,205 Mon Calimari Infantry, 170 Swoops, 40 mobile laser cannons, and one squadron (12) of Airspeeders. Although outmatched by their Imperial counterparts, Alliance medium troopers still fight with daring and bravery. Fleet Troopers are the backbone of the Navy's security forces while Mon Calimari troopers fight valiantly for day when their homeworld will be free. Swoops are the more heavily armed and armored equivalent of the speeder bike and can be quite deadly in the hands of an experienced pilot. The Alliance Airspeeder is very effective against Imperial armor units, particularly AT-AT walkers.

Alliance Heavy Regiment (Replaces Mon Cal Regiment)

A typical Rebel Heavy Regiment includes: 1,223 Veteran Commando Troops, 1,227 Wookie troops, 121 repulsorlift attack vehicles, and one squadron of V-wing Fighters. Composed of battle tested commandos and powerful but excitable wookies, rebel heavy regiments are more than a match for Imperial garrisons. Armored repulsorlift attack vehicles provide dependable ground support. The V-wing fighter is an impressive close planetary and ground support fighter.

Alliance Assault Regiment (Replaces Sullust Regiment)

An Assault Regiment is made up of 103 SD-9 War Droids, 84 SD-10 War Droids, and one squadron of A-9 Vigilance Interceptors. Governor Beltane, in retaliation for the Imperial subjugation of his factory world, Balmorra, has offered the S-9 and the more advanced SD-10 War Droids to the Rebel Alliance on generous terms so long as they strike back against the Empire for the freedom of his homeworld. The A-9 Vigilance Interceptor is the next generation of ground assault fighters and is very effective in that role.

Jedi Knights (Replaces Wookie Regiment)

Trained at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, these young Jedi will rekindle a light long lost to the universe. A standard Jedi military unit contains 8 Jedi Knights. Using the ancient ways of the force, the Jedi will be unstoppable in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy.
