Help For RebEd and Rebellion Special Edition

How to install RebEd Cards

To install the RebEd cards, all you need to do is replace the old card with the new one with the RebEd program. So, for example, you download the new Boba Fett card and unzip on your hard drive where you can find it easily. Then you click on the "Minor Characters" button on the main page which brings up the minor characters menu. Then you scroll down the name list until you find and click the name of the character Labansat. Then you click the "Load Card" button in the lower right hand cornor of the menu which brings up the "Pick a Character card" menu. Then you go to the file which has the unzipped Boba Fett card, click the card which brings up the card in the preview area in the middle of the screen. Then you click the load button which will replace the old Labansat card with the new Boba Fett card. Below is a list of all of the cards for Rebellion Special Edition, which are listed under the main menu catigories of the RebEd program they are located in. Next to some of the new cards are the names of the old cards they need to replace so that their names and descriptions won't be cut off. If a card doesn't have a name to replace, like Luke Skywalker for example, you just replace the old card with the same name with the new card. Other cards with no replacement name like Hobbie can be put anywhere if there is room left over.

How To install Dll Pictures

After you download all the DLL pictures you want to use first:, unzip them, go into RebEd, click the "DLL entries" button on the main menu in the lower right hand cornor, and there you'll find 4 menus. The 2 ones we want are the "missions" and "events" menus. Now all we have to do is replace the old pictures with the new ones. The Luke, Leia, and Solo & Jabba pictures are in the events catagories while the missions pictures go into the missions catagories. So for example, to put in the Luke and Yoda picture, you click the events file, then the luke file, then the luke & yoda file which will bring up the old luke & yoda picture. Then you just right click on the picture, then choose load, then just load the new luke& yoda picture that came from the zip file. It's pretty easy once you do it a few times.

other Notes on RebEd

One thing I would like to mention is that I just use the RebEd program and I don't know how to fix any of the specific errors that occur with the program. The people to talk to about those things is the RebEd Help Team. The RebEd page also has a help section that has a RebEd FAQ that will answer any other questions you might have. Another person who might be able to help is the RebEd homepage webmaster.
