Empire Troop cards
(Replaces Army Regiment)
This Regiment Includes: 1,375 Sandtroopers, 1,230 Scout Troopers, 190 Speeder Bikes, 73 AT-PT Walkers, and 62 Chariot Light Assault Vehicles. Imperial Sandtroopers are less effictive then standard stormtroopers in overall military terms since their ranks are composed of "undesirables" or troopers with an independent streak. They are less motivated to fight since they are posted at the most undesirable, backward systems, are issued old, obsolete equipment, and hardly see any action at all. Imperial scout troopers, riding swift speeder bikes, are more effective in combat but are less effective as infantry since they are, as a rule, lightly armed. AT-PT Walkers and CAV vehicles are very effective against unarmed civilians, but relativly weak against stronger units. Make excellent garrison troops.
(Replaces Stormtrooper Regiment)
This Regiment has: 1,543 Imperial Army Troopers, 954 Heavy Gunner Troopers, 87 TIE Crawlers, 76 Hoverscouts, 84 AT-ST, 45 Compact Assault Vehicles, 9 Sentinal Craft, and one squadron of TIE/gt fighters. This regiment is more effective than their Rebel counterpart due to possessing more armored and mechinized vehicles. Imperial Army Troopers and Gunner Troopers are very effective infantry and with such a large vehicle contingent, most rebel garrisons can't stand up to such firepower for very long. TIE/gt fighters are specifically designed for ground support, although they are rather susceptible to ground fire. Repulsorlift craft and Sentinal landing craft can transport the Imperial Army and Gunner troopers quickly and efficiently.
(Replaces Fleet Regiment)
This Regiment includes: 2,543 Stormtroopers, 120 Imperial Walkers, 80 Juggernauts, 62 Floating Fortresses, 25 Mobile Command Bases, and two squadrons of TIE Boarder and Assault TIE Fighters. Stormtroopers, the Imperial elite shock infantry are devestating to opposing forces but the real strength in Imperial Heavy Regiments are the mechinized armor units of AT-AT walkers, Juggernauts, Floating Fortresses, and Mobile Command Bases. If this regiment is used in large numbers, a rebel garrison would have little hope of repelling such an attack. Assault TIE fighters are TIE fighters are specially armed and armored for ground assault while TIE "Boarder" craft can transport Stormtroopers anywhere at a moment's notice.
(Replaces Dark Trooper Regiment)
A War Droid Regiment includes: 1,000 phase 1 Dark Troopers, 800 phase 2 Dark Troopers, 700 elite stormtroopers wearing phase 3 Dark Trooper exoskeleton body armor, 62 Tank Droids, 43 X-1 Viper War Droids and one squadron of Shadow Droid Fighters. Composed entirely of Dark Trooper infantry (besides the elite stormtroopers in exoskeleton armor), these automated warriors can cut down opposing rebel infantry with brutal precision and efficiency. The mechinized droid armor units are also quite powerful and can slice opposing armor units to ribbons. The freakish and grotesque Shadow Droid Fighters also slaughter enemy units in a inhumanly proficient manner.
(Replaces War Droid Regiment)
Amounting to the Imperial Army equivilant of a Death Star, this heavily armed assault platform lifts planetary debris into a molecular furnace to provide raw materials for the droid factories inside its massive structure to make weapons, typically countless squadrons of TIE Droid fighters. The most powerful ground unit in the Imperial arsenal, one World Devestator can annihilate entire rebel planetary defense forces in one swift stroke.
