Amsterdam's own night skate which started since I997 and is continually growing.

Berlin
Berlinparade is a skating demonstration through Berlin for advanced skaters. It has been created to improve the skating situation in Germany and in Berlin itself. The skate event takes place Friday night, sometimes on Sunday afternoon. Note: not every week, please watch our internet pages or order the newsletter. The meeting point is the car parking area Alexanderstrasse or the Wittenbergplatz. About 1,000 up to 4000 skaters meet there for the demonstration.
London
They used to do night skates before the advent of the Wednesday Night Skate and FNS in London. Not sure if the students still gather to skate on their own. Please contact them for more info.

Paris
One of the biggest night skates in the world. Meets every Friday night. The streets are completely blocked off to regular traffic for this skate. And the police is present with 10 motorbikes and about 20 policemen on skates. The traffic flow is stopped during our passing, and the intersections are secured by the Pari Roller volunteers. A definite must if you're in Paris!!!
Sydney
City Skate is one of the most popular Inline Skating Events in Sydney.
There is no organizing body and it has become a weekly tradition where
bladers meet in the city and skate to various places as a group.
