Working Environment

Not everybody has a workshop to build their project, so what are the alternatives?
Consistent Temperature control across the length of the table is important. You really want the panels under vacuum to go off together. Temperature gradients can cause problems, so what ever approach you use, avoid temperature gradients.

Also, in areas where the climate cools down quickly in the evening hours, make some effort to reduce the rate of change when waiting for a panel to complete initial curing. This can be achieved though closing off the area, to reduce the impact of winds cooling the table down.

Here is an example of a covered area in use for KSS construction.

When we ran our last workshop here in Alamo, we used a couple of car ports available from Costco. These cost less than $200 each, and come with solid tubular construction, and good quality white canvas covering. Originating from Taiwan, its difficult to beat pricewise, though narrower than the approach shown above.
