Student at Balamb Garden. He uses a Gunblade which he can unleash devasting attacks with Renzokuken. Squall is seen as a silent, cold person which he does not mind at all.

Limit Break Renzokuken
Renzokuken is move consisting several damaging attacks which sometimes end with a finishing move. The finishing move is randomized and it too depends on what weapon he is carrying. Press the R1 button when the light flashes across the small box on the left to make a stronger attack, missing however results in a much weaker one. Towards the end of his limit break, a random finsihing move may result (as stated above). These are the possible ending moves.
Rough Divide: Squall finishes with an upward slash at a single target.
Fated Circle: Squall leaps into the air, performs a twirl with the gunblade, sending a wave of fire towards all targets.
Blasting Zone: Squall points the gunblade upwards, concentrating a beam off energy before bringing it down upon all targets.
Lion Heart: Squall knocks a single target into the air, leaps up and slashes away causing major damage. Ends with an explosion before target falls back down to recieve yet another doze of damage.
