alcohol are among the top selling items;and thinking about it has
helped inspire this latest fanfic.Besides,this spamfic is intended to
be a joke.^_^It's a possible theory on what Genma and Souun were doing
the day they engaged a not-yet born Ranma to one of Souun's daughters;
something Genma wasn't doing when he engaged Ranma to Ukyou.^_^Though
Akane doesn't actually appear in this fic(since she isn't born yet),
members of the KTF obviously should not read this.
The Agreement(A Ranma 1/2 fanfic),by Mike Rhea

Genma Saotome and his lifelong friend Souun Tendou were walking the
streets of Nerima in bliss.Their wives were pregnant:Nodoka Saotome
with her and Genma's first child,and Mrs.Tendou with her and Souun's
third daughter.Their wives were expecting in about a month.Though they
hadn't really discussed it seriously,they wanted to engage Genma's
unborn son to one of Souun's daughters so the Anything Goes School of
Martial Arts would be in good hands.They had discussed it more
seriously in recent days,and wanted to secure an agreement ASAP.But
first,they needed to go to the liquor store first,since they always
discussed the future of their doujou over cigarettes and alcohol.
They entered the liquor store together,and went straight to the
counter.
"A keg of sake and a carton of Marlboro reds,please,"Souun told the
clerk at the counter.
"That will be 25,000 yen,please,"replied the clerk.
"Thank you very much,sir,"said Genma as he handed the clerk 25,000 yen.
"You're very welcome,"replied the clerk as he handed Souun the smokes and Genma the booze.
After leaving the liquor store,Souun and Genma walked in the direction of Mount Ootake.

A few hours later,they reached the east end of the Kantou mountain
range.There,they settled down and set up camp.Souun then opened up the
carton of cigarettes and he and Genma split up the contents so that
they each had 5 packs of cigarettes.As it was getting dark,they
started up a campfire;and the 2 began drinking up the sake and puffing
up the cigarettes.Eventually,they had drunk all of the sake and each
was down to their last cigarette.Both Souun and Genma were red-eyed
and noticeably drunk and a bit stoned.At that point,Souun asked Genma
"Saotome(hic!),if your son(cough) married one of my daughters(hic!),
our doujou of Anything-Goes Martial Arts(cough) will certainly be in (hic!) good hands.What do you think(cough),Saotome?"
"You've(hic!) got yourself a deal(cough),Tendou!,"replied Genma.
Thus,a canonical matchup that truly wasn't was born,though the 2
main people involved had yet to be born.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:As you may know,some Ranma fans believe that Genma and
Souun were far from sober when Ranma was (in)formally engaged to the
Tendou daughters before he was born.I wouldn't disagree with them one
bit.BTW,in case you're wondering why Ukyou is absent from this fic,it
is because this fic takes place before many of the Ranma characters
were born(In this fanfic's storyline;Kunou,Kasumi,and Nabiki were just
infants.).Don't worry:Genma and Mr.Kuonji were 100% sober when they
engaged Ranma to Ukyou and vice versa.:)
