Installing Fonts on your Pocket PC

Not happy with the choices of fonts that your Pocket PC has on its list.  Well then simply copy the font from the \Windows\Fonts folder on your computer to the \Windows\Fonts folder on the Pocket PC.

To install it, follow the steps given below:

  1. Open the Windows Explore and browse under the Windows folder to search for the Fonts folder.
  2. Under the Font folder locate the desired font.
  3. Copy the font and paste it in the My Documents Synchronization folder.
  4. Synchronize the Pocket PC.
  5. Tap Start -> Programs ->File Explorer.
  6. Tap and hold the font file using the stylus to copy it.
  7. Then come up one level and tap My Device ->Windows -> Fonts, and paste the file.  Tap and hold the the stylus again and select the paste option.
  8. The font will be available for use in Pocket Word and Pocket Excel.
