So, basically, i'm like every other freaky wack-job out there, except that i have a great appreciation for "anime" (for those not "in the know", that's japanese animation) style artwork. it's been such an influence in my artistic perspective, that it's about all i care to attempt anymore. once, i practiced a variety of mediums and styles, and while i still have a great appreciation and love of art in all forms, this happens to be my favorite. CG has become a new realm for me to play within, and am enjoying it emmensly. while my art still lacks a great deal of skill, proportion, proper shade/color, refined linework, etc, etc.. (the list goes on..), it's been an evolving process that's been a great deal of fun.
i've been checking out several pages (CG, Anime, etc, etc..) and have been so impressed, that i finally decided to put something up myself. hope you enjoy it. my inspiration comes from my life and friends, mostly (those whom i've drawn into my characters know who they are), and the style or technique (if such exists in my scratch work), is begat of my love of anime and it's many varieties in color, and unique styles.
while i'm not "hardcore" in amime, i do love the classics (akira, ghost in the shell, ranma 1/2, etc, etc..). what i really love about it is the cultural subtleties and "huh?'s" and the like.
i do a bit of stuff for family and friends, when i hear or are a part of funny stories. you can see my crazy array of friends on the "photo album" page that will soon be added to the site.
