Limited parking is available on the site of the
Plainfield Depot.

A
natural foods co-op is located near the back of the Plainfield Fire Station, a
short distance west of the site of the Plainfield Depot.

A pizza shop is located further west on Main St across from the church. Its
hours are 11am-2pm & 4-10pm Tue through Sunday. Toilets & water are
presumably available inside upon request. The public phone is outside on the
sidewalk and available at all times. Note that another small cafe is located a short
distance further.

A full service restaurant was observed a short
distance north of the Plainfield settlement on Route 2. Note that a sidewalk
offers safe access from the Main St intersection to the restaurant for
pedestrians only!
A small gallery adjacent to the Pizza Shop features the work of local artists
and craft persons, as well as traveling exhibits.
