Project Scope ( Description of Project )
Construction of 6.5 mile trai/ beginning at East Brook and ending at West River. Work to include tree marking, brush clearing, installation of waterbars, two foot bridges, a parking area and trailhead with signs. Work to be performed by Vt Youth Conservation Corps members.

The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation, represented by the FP&R Business Manager, and the Project Sponsor, named above, mutually agree to perform this Agreement in accordance with the Vermont Recreation Trails Act and the National Recreation Trails Fund Ad and the terms, promises, conditions, plans, specifications, estimates, procedures, project proposals, maps, and assurances attached hereto or retained by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation and hereby made a part hereof.
The project sponsor, in accepting this grant, further agrees to comply with all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations including 49 CFR 18 (Common Rule), OMB Circular A110, and OMB Circular A122. All required documents and signatures will be obtained and forwarded to the Department before any work begins.

If the total federal funds received during the fiscaQ year is greater than $100,000, the sponsor must contract for an audit of its records.
If the total federal funds received during the fiscal year is less than $100,000 but $25,000 or more in LWCF or RTP funds, the sponsor must contract for an audit of its LWCF or RTP program and submit a copy of that report to the Vt. Dept. ofForests, Parks & Recreation
If the total federal funds received from all sources is less than $25,000, no audit is required.

O An audit of the LWCF or RTP grant program will be contracted and a copy submitted to the Vt. Department ofForests, Parks & Recreation
O An audit report will be prepared but a copy will not be sent to the Vt. Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation because less than $25,000 in LWCF or RTP money was received during this fiscal year.
O No audit is required since total federal fUnding received during this fiscal year was less than $25,000.
