Atlantic Station was apparently a rural flag-stop near the Route 236 overpass, with facilities possibly limited to a gravel boarding area and a sign containing the name of the station. However, the Webmaster was unable to determine the precise location of this station during his brief visit of April 29, 2001.

ADA compliant trail access is probably feasible along the length of Pickens Street, but with insufficient room for any parking or other trailhead facilities.

Signs of ATV usage were noticed at the north end of Pickens Street, on the east side of the track. The ATV trail presumably terminates in the residential area northeast of the Route 236 overpass.

ATV usage is evident in both directions from the Walton Street overpass. A steep trail provides access to the trail from the southeast corner of the Walton Street underpass, but every use encourages further erosion of the steep slope.
