Greg, WB6FZH had one of these transmitters in 1964, it was Manufactured in Japan, and imported by fellow Marin Amateur Radio Club Member "Mars" Lusanke (Not sure of spelling).

In the 1960's this 6 watt output radio could be heard connected to Webster Bandspanners from San Francisco on the Daily "Commute Run" to Marin and other destinations from the vehicles of many Hams.

They were powered by WW2 Surplus dynamotors, "Vibro-Packs" or the new-fangled transistor inverter power supplies. WB6FZH's was powered by a homebrew AC Power Supply.
