Astatic Corporation Model D-104 Microphone
Famous Crystal Microphone shown on type "G" stand
More information about this famous microphone widely used by AM and
"Boatanchor" Operators soon. This microphone is in used daily on HF and
Satellites (Through transverter) from /KH6. The microphone was first
introduced in the 1930s and was revised through time internally. The last
version had a dynamic element and transistorized pre-amp built-in with
a battery in the stand. The D-104 has been used at WB6FZH since the late
1960s. -G
