SCR-274N Radio System
SCR-274N Radio System Display Project
I have collected all the equipment listed on this page for the
SCR-274N, and am planning to build a full-size recreation of the
left side of the aircraft shown on this page. I am still looking
for the Radio Operator's Chair and some of the oxygen, electric
flightsuit connectors, and a couple other items. If I do not
locate these items I will reduce the display to a glass enclosed
shelf unit with the equipment as shown. It will be built from
copies of the original Martin Plans obtained from the Smithsoanian
Air and Space Museum. It is my goal to donate it to a small air
museum in the Western United States. If you know any SCR-274N
Operators I am interested in collecting their recollections and
stories to be given along with the display in written form. I
am also considering an audio-visual, or just an audio simulation
of the use of this "Command Set".
