WB6FZH/KH6 Satellite Antenna System
Rooftop view looking North to Kaneohe Bay
LEFT to RIGHT- Ringo Ranger 2mtr Antenna, 435mhz Eggbeater Antenna,
Butternut HF5V(Ground-Mounted) HF Vertical, 145mhz Eggbeater Antenna.
The 435mhz Eggbeater Antenna is location is where the rotary Satellite
antenna will be located. The AR-22 rotor is mounted low to the tile roof.
Hopefully, a short boom, low to the roof will survive the winds. Fixed
elevation will be used initially during the ground and later, roof-top
testing. A homebrew remote antenna switch will switch the R-F Preamp
between the circular polarized beam and the eggbeater antenna on the mast
of the rotor. The 2mtr circular polarized beam antenna will be tested
at fixed elevations also for transmit and recieve separately.
