Within the country of Japan exists a parallel world...one known as the Digital Universe. In this world 8 normal kids from Japan are transported there.

In this world exists an evil force, a force that consumes all life on the world and destroys it. Accompanied by an army of evil underlings, such as Devimon and Myotismon, the force has opened a gate between the Digital World and Earth. The evil force's conquest is to overwhelm and dominate the Earth and Digital World.

Little do the kids know that they possess the power of the crests and the Digidestined, allowing them to ally with the inhabitants of the world (known as Digimon) in their battle to save the Digital World as well as their own. The power to ally with the good Digimon gives the kids the power to stop the essence of evil that lurks around to try and destroy them. But first, they must develop a trust and friendship with their Digimon...and each other.

Can the Digidestined save the Digital World as well as their own from the evil Digimon? Or will all life force be completely annhilated?
