English and Japanese Names of Characters
One quality of dubbed anime that, although happens infrequently, thoroughly pisses me off, is the tendency for a dubbing company to change the names of the characters. And I don't mean just one or two; that I don't mind. What I'm talking about is changing the names of nearly ALL the characters. Such was the case in the CardCaptors dub, which is so far one of the most annoying dubs I've had to sit through in my life.
Below are the Japanese character's names and their English counterparts. Hopefully, I'll never walk past an oriental who takes pride in the name "Natasha" in central Tokyo...if I can ever go there.
