The 52 Clow Cards were created by Clow Reed to tell the outcome of the Earth. He put them in a book, and sealed it with 2 figures - Yue and Kereberos. When the book was sealed, Yue split into two people...
When the cards escaped, they all took different forms and began to wander the Earth, playing pranks and harassing others for no reason. All have different traits...some strong, some smart, some fast, and some that are very clever. When placed back into the card, they can create effects on either Sakura (Ex: The Power Card increases Sakura's strength) or the card she's trying to capture. (Ex: The Time Card freezes time for everyone except the user)
