LONGING.......
Alone in this vast place under the sea.
Is this the great city of Atlantis or just my lonely
dream?
I can no longer tell as I am longingly searching..
Will I find whom I seek and what I am longing for
in
this quiet but so beautiful place?
Not really alone but all just beyond my reach.
The water feels so warm and soothing in
this place of splendor.
Arches from days of the past and lovers
meeting behind me is that my past
or is it what will be?
Schools of underwater life swimming so close to
me
I could reach out and touch them.
My fingers dancing to the music of the sea as I
am enjoying all I can see.
I am so alone with all my thoughts searching
and longing for your return.
My eyes are strained and so tired from looking
for you my love.
My mouth is parched and my lips on fire
waiting your gentle kiss to fill this hunger .
Are you missing me as much as I am longing
for you?
Waiting and wanting to lay once more wrapped in
the
comfort of your arms. Our bodies just flowing
together as if one...once again.
Oh my darling please, please hurry
my love becomes more intense with
each passing minute of the day or night.
Return to me soon my darling as you are
my life, my heart, and my soul.
And then this longing will be at an end.
