Go to owmbc.org Another New Race! The Transom Twister Model Boat Club is holding a one day - all Gas event at the G.M. Tech. Center in Warren, MI on October 6. Please see events and classes page. I want to thank all the people that put so much effort into making this a great year. Attendance was up at all races with some new and old faces. The clubs put so much effort into putting on an event and they deserve our thanks. The London Club, Thames Valley, Is putting together the Northern Nats for next year. This will be a three day event with two days of qualifying and the top boats going into the finals on Sunday. The mono high points series got off to a great start in it's first year. Tony Jacuzzi put his heart and soul into this and through his efforts we have seen a huge difference in the mono class. Please see the District 2 Mono web site. Check the links page. GREAT JOB TONY! A special thanks to Joe Wiebelhaus and Steve Peterson for the job they did in Scale and Sport 40. Remember that all these classes are district wide. This year we will count your best 8 races, first - third round from any race you attend. Any extra scores will be thrown out if they do not surpass your best first 8 races. Your best scores count towards District points. Ed Mazzola is the contact person for the Gas classes. You can contact Ed through the Specialized Classes page. We are trying to put together a season high point series for this class so please give him your input.
