Mufa 72 offers a kind of baroque phenomenon. Its title is to be found neither in discographies nor in the catalogue of Piazzolla's works. Musicologists are often confronted with similar situations when investigating the old masters. This work perhaps be a previously unpublished version of La Mufa, which had appeared in 1965.
