Fransisco Canaro affirmed that the name of this tango was created by Angel Villoldo in an old tavern wich proposed boiled beef with vegetables. For five cents, it was possible to introduce a ladle in the pot wich contained the food and ate what it removed. This one was famous for the corns (choclo) that contained.
