Dornier Do X

     The Dornier Do X (first flight 1929), was a German-built, giant, transAtlantic flying boat. Its twelve Curtiss Conqueror engines each produced 649 PS for a  max. speed of 210 km/h (130 mph), and a cruising speed of 175 km/h (108 mph), and it had a maximum payload of 56,000 kg. (150,036 lbs.).
