I've been working on my family tree using Family Tree Maker and, more recently, Legacy Family Tree for a couple years now. The source for much of the information in the tree was collected from several sources including:

One of the most exciting parts of publishing this Internet family tree has been all of the family contacts I've made. Since the first version of this web page, I have met (via email anyway) a number of relatives. Thanks to all of you who have visited and enjoyed my web page. Sharing this information makes all of the hours spent compiling and uploading these pages so much more worthwhile! Special thanks to Cathy Person, for adding descendants of Mary Hamner, and Jack Hamner for contributing extensive descendant trees for William and Robert Hamner. If you have any information you would like to add, please email me using the link below. So far, I've only heard from people related on the Hamner side of the tree. However, I would love to hear from anyone else, particularly on the Shank or Hedrick side.
I will update this page periodically with new information as it comes in. Maintaining privacy is very important, so I will not publish personal information such as birth dates, notes, etc. for living people.
