| Another collectable form are photos of various PEZ®
introductions, functions and personnel which create a historical timeline of events.
At left we have such a photo. This photo of "Tilly" holding a PEZ® regular dispenser
(circa 1953) demonstrates a historical timeline.
There is very little known about
"Tilly" and how she became to be a "PEZ® girl" but one thing is
known; this photo was of PEZ® introducing its product to our Canadian friends at a
Niagara Falls press shoot one year after PEZ® US debut.
During those early days Niagara
Falls was known as a honeymoon heaven, and much like today had many tourist. What a
great place to introduce a new product! |
