My Father and mother's wedding photo taken
in Philadelphia, PA ,several days after the ceremony
which was on December 25, 1920 in
Sinnemahoning, PA. Handsome couple!

Pictured above are my
father, Layton BENNETT and his parents Amos A. BENNETT and
Maranda A. HAYNES Wheaton BENNETT in a picture taken circa
1919, just prior to his death. Per his obit in the Cameron
County Press, he was well know on the Susquehanna River
having been the supervisor of Barclay Bros. Lumbering
Operation. Prior to that he had been employed by Francis
Deloy of South Williamsport in his Lumbering operations.

Here's one I haven't figured out yet. On the back it says
"Died Sept. 7, 1915", and I believe she may be the wife of Reuben BENNETT,
Mary Newell
BENNETT b Abt 1832 in Wysox, PA daughter of Hezekiah NEWELL
and Sally TUTTLE. Their children were Orsen b Abt 1848, Sarah
b Abt 1856 and Warren b Abt 1858. If you have any info on her
or can prove her death date, please email me below. Thanks!
Note the flag and the man's picture behind
her.
My great grandparents Caleb N. HAYNES and
Rebecca R. Brooks HAYNES prior to his death in 1901.

I think this picture was taken as the
family assembled for the funeral of my great grandfather George W.
GORE who died on July 29, 1902. My mother Esther Snyder
BENNETT would have been about 16 months old at the time and
is being held by her mother Ida Mae GORE in the left/center
of the picture. Ida Mae's husband Edward H. SNYDER stands
behind her.

This is of my mother's class at the
Sinnemahoning, PA Elementary School about the year 1916. My
mother, Esther Idella Snyder BENNETT is seated 5th from the
left, in the front row. She was about 15 years old.

the Jericho section of Sinnemahoning about 1895.
