Carolyn pioneered the bald look amongst models in the UK. She first shaved her head in the late Eighties after copying her boyfriend's look. This brave decision paid dividends and she was soon seen on many catwalks in Europe. She became a "Tank Girl" icon and rarely seen without a body hugging catsuit. knee length combat boots and clean-shaved head
Her most famous moment was when she was featured on the UK fashion programme the Clothes Show having her head razored and painted. There was also a short interview in which she spoke of the merits of being bald and advised more women to go for the shaved look. "Go for it! It really is a truely wonderful experience"
She appears to have given up modelling now to raise her daughter.
