Off the Cuff
For anyone who hasn't seen The Naked Gardener, Nai probably merits an introduction. His series on the BBC has taken the UK by storm, combining extreme sports - particularly rock climbing - with horticulture, Lycra and some hair-raising stunts!

- Nai is pronounced 'Nye'.
- Born in 1974 in Farlopoli, Italy whilst his parents were on holiday there.
- He has a PhD in chemistry and was going to go into science until he was spotted by a BBC talent scout. Apparently he was enthusing in a pub about some fuschias after a climb at Cheddar Gorge, near Bristol!
