Colonel Rebecca Hodges is the commander of the Sea Dragon unit. It was her idea to form the experimental team; her idea to experiment with a small, quick-strike Marine unit and her idea to try something new. Not all the powers that be like her ideas or, for that matter, her, but she doesn't let that get in the way of her ultimate goal which is, and always has been, success.

And success has never been a stranger to Colonel Hodges. She entered the Marines at a time when women Marines were mostly relegated to administrative tasks. Through grit and determination and with a certain amount of no-nonsense charm, Hodges managed to land the right assignments that guaranteed her a steady rise up the chain of command. It wasn't always easy, but it was always a challenge and that is what Hodges loves most.

Hodges is married with two grown children and one newly minted grand-daughter.
