Thanks for stopping by. This page is an informal introduction to who I am, and what makes me tick. This page is also very much a work in progress.

If you have a moment and want to tickle your funny bone, stop by my web site. Puns change daily and are often submitted by visitors. Find out why over 100 people a day chuckle at The Pun Page.

All-In-One Search page

This page lists many search boxes for different search engines. You can either search by typing your search in the "all-in-one" search engine at the top of the page, or by selecting one of many different search engines located on the page. No need to leave the search page and wait forever at one of the "portal" sites.

This is like cruising in the fast lane of the information superhighway. As an added bonus, this site does not collect private information about you, as do so many web sites.

So stop by and test it out!

How to Design a Web Page

Are you looking for a quick introduction on how to design a web page? I taught a small class how to design a web page like this one using this page as my outline. The entire class followed along with the outline, and clicked to follow explanatory links. After the class was over, one student, an employee at my law school's Career Development office, asked me to help design their web page.

How to Search the Internet

This is a brief outline of a one-hour class I taught at Widener University School of Law. I created this outline when I was told that I probably wouldn't have a computer projector to use. This meant that I would have had to teach with no visual aids, which would have made it difficult to demonstrate how a search worked..

By using this outline, I was able to demonstrate exactly how a search proceeded. During this class, 15 students and several faculty members were able to follow along on their own computers and learn how to use the free Internet access offered through library computers to find useful information.
