Cilla Black sang the theme song for the film Alfie. She can be seen with Pattie and George Harrison in a number of pictures from the movie premiere. According to Bill Harry, a Beatles biographer, Cilla Black made her recording debut with the Lennon/McCartney song "Love of the Loved." Despite popular rumors about her being a cloakroom girl at the Cavern, she was a typist for a local cable company in Liverpool before becoming a star.
