The Promenade Lounge and Bar on Star Princess

Located about mid-ship on Promenade Deck, at the Atrium's top level, the Promenade Lounge and Bar is Star Princess' old faithful when it comes to finding a drink at almost any time of day. Among the first to open in the morning and the last to close at night, the Promenade Lounge is always waiting, for those passersby who feel the sudden urge to imbibe. Selections range from coffee and coffee drinks to cocktails and icy drinks. During afternoons and evenings, the Lounge also offers a wine and caviar menu.

The Promenade Bar and Lounge serves as Star Princess' piano lounge, with nightly entertainment, sing along and/or Name that Tune type games, often playing to overflow crowds: the lounge is too small for the considerable numbers of people it tends to attract. However, the lure of the piano is to capture people passing by on whim, not as a spot to go for planned entertainment. Relocating the pianist to other, larger lounges, likely, would deprive him of his audience. From my observations, successful piano bars, of which this is one, always, are located along main passenger thoroughfares. On Star Princess, there is no better venue to which to move the Piano Bar, so, I guess, the overflow crowds are here to stay!
