Another difference between Star Princess (and Golden), compared to the original in the class, Grand Princess, is the elimination of Grand's virtual photography studio, replaced with the 36 seat Hearts and Minds Wedding Chapel. This chapel continues Princess' unique Wedding at Sea program, permitting couples to "close the knot" as the ship sails on to the next day's destination. Services are performed by the Captain, in accordance with the governing laws of Bermuda, Star Princess' country of registry. Princess does charge a hefty fee for the opportunity, with 2002 package prices beginning at $1,400 per couple.

The Chapel itself is intimate and nicely finished, surrounded by stained glass windows and music accompaniment provided by a beautiful white baby grand piano. For couples so wishing, the ceremony can be accessed, live, on the Princess web page.
