A PARNAMI Cruise Page
On Star Princess, 25 cabins are designated "suites" with all but four following the standard form depicted here. Of the four, one is the Grand Suite providing a level of accommodation well beyond that provided other "rich" people. The owner's suite, too, provides a slightly higher level of accommodation than do the standard suites. The remaining two suites are the designated Family Suites with entirely different purposes for their existence.
The remainders of the 25 suites, although categorized as Vista, Premium and Penthouse, generally, are identical, with very slight variations in size. It would take side-by-side comparisons for anyone to tell them apart. Penthouse suites do have the advantage of having centralized locations on the ship, which, in addition to adding degrees of convenience could be considered highly beneficial, in the event of rougher seas.
All suites provide entrance foyers, wet bars with refrigerators, sitting areas with couch, chair, glass table and desk. A 26-inch television provided entertainment.
The sleeping area is in a room off to the side, with privacy curtains separating it from the sitting area. Here again, twin beds can be configured to form a seamless king sized, flanked by night tables and lamps. The vanity provides a full width mirror and comes complete with a hair dryer.
![]() The bathroom is completely marble, with a sink and toilet separate from the Jacuzzi tub and shower.
![]() Verandahs, directly accessible from both the living and sleeping areas, are furnished with high quality wooden deck recliners, tables and chairs.
