Neurotoxins and Heamotoxins - Dukeleto +++Thought for the day+++ |
|
In each recovery phase, after recovery, the character must pass a T test, if failed, the character is stunned for the following turn, in addition, EVERY location takes 1 level of damage, to represent the progessive paralysis, internal bleeding and cramps.
Note: most Neurotoxins in the 41st millenium are genetically specific, they are tailored for maximum lethality to a particular species.
Toxins may be general, but if specific, a character targeted by a toxin designed to affect it will be at -20 T, if someone is affected by the wrong Neurotoxin they will be at +20.
Awareness must be strictly enforced here, if you know your mate's building an Ork warband, then you'd better come up with a very good reason why you should have Orkoid Neurotoxins, as opposed to general ones!
Heamotoxins
Please read carefully, this isn't the same as Neurotoxins, they're
poisons which affect the Blood and Cardiovascular system.
By the way, does anyone know the name for traditional poisons that
take affect through the digestive system and cause stomach cramps?
A character who takes any damage from a Heamotoxin weapon takes additional damage straight away, and also in each of the following recovery phases until the antidote is administered.
The Heamotoxin causes the location originally hit to Bleed, as well as any damage casued from the hit. In each recovery phase, after recovery, the character must pass a T test, if failed, the character is stunned for the following turn, in addition, the bleeding spreads to another random location.
Note: most Heamotoxins in the 41st millenium are genetically specific, they are tailored for maximum lethality to a particular species. Toxins may be general, but if specific, a character targeted by a toxin designed to affect it will be at -20 T, if someone is affected by the wrong Neurotoxin they will be at +20.
