I came up with this whilst trying to make a Necromunda setting for Inquisitor. If a character has a poorly made weapon it is a risky action to use it. If they fail roll a D10 and consult the table below.
D10 roll. Result
1 Click-Nothing happens.
2 Clang- Cartridge falls out.
3 Cartridge Stuck- Can't reload the gun for the rest of the game.
4 Barrel Jam- 1 action to free it.
5 Trigger breaks- Shoots as normal then useless for the rest of the game.
6 Bent sprocket- Weapon does half damage.
7 Dakka dakka- The gun empties its entire cartridge in one go! Useless for the rest of the game.
8 Bang- Weapon explodes doing ½ damage as normal on a random location.
9 Boom- Weapon explodes doing ¾ damage as normal on a random location.
10 Kaboom- Weapon explodes and is destroyed doing full damage as normal on a random location.
