Beldame Sadia - Paul Covell +++Thought for the day+++ |
|
As benefited such a loyalty, she recruited only convicted murderers for her minions. These base killers, frequently shrouded in shadow fields acquired from her xenos allies were deadly in the extreme and were difficult opponents because of their utter fanaticism and stealth technology.

*Augmetic Arachnid Chassis - After her legs were severed by Inquisitor Atelath some three hundred years ago she had a new mechanical conveyance built to replace them. Instead of simply replacing her legs with bionic equivalents as would be standard she had her legs replaced with an eight limbed chassis, broadly resembling that of the humble spider.
The limbs of the chassis were armoured and sharpened to a lethal point fully capable of piecing through a human body with a single blow. The Beldame counts as being Multi-legged and counts as always having two Beweaponed Extremities Reach 3, D10+Str damage, 0 parry penalty) which cannot cause her additional damage if parried (they are metal after all!). She also counts as having 4 points of armour on her Groin and Legs locations.
**Shadowfield - How the Beldame managed to acquire so many Shadow Fields from the elusive Dark Eldar is, as yet, unknown but she is believed to have somehow purchased, borrowed or stolen these strange devices to give her demented followers some measure of stealth ability.
Shadow fields are Exotic force fields and are usually only available from deceased Dark Eldar leaders or, occasionally, through very unsavoury arms dealers. A character equipped with a working Shadow Field appears only as a moving shadow and is, therefore, very difficult to target successfully.
In dark conditions the character is nearly impossible to see. Even in adequate light attempts to see them are at half chance. Characters wishing to shoot at a Shadow Field equipped character must first know where they are (see above) and even then they will find it very difficult to hit them (counts as having a 2D6 protection force field).
Characters which do not see in the standard spectrum may be able to see the character normally (GM's decision). Characters with Infra vision (see in Infra-Red), who can see auras or have an Infrascope (and have aimed) may shoot at the character freely. Auspexes and the like detect Shadow Field equipped characters normally.
