Regan Dallas, murderer - Alan Brilly

Regan began life on a penal world, the son of a whore and a chaos cultist. His birth had been tainted with the touch of the chaos god Malal. The child was taken from its screaming mother, recognising the invisible mark of the daemon present on the babe's forehead, the same mark her husband bore, and was raised by the ulanti family on Necromunda hive Primus.

The child was switched for the baby of the ulanti family by a dark stranger who left the guards around the cot slaughtered and decapitated. So it was that Regan's first months in the world were steped in blood and death.

Regan grew up as a fairly normal child, educated in the ways of the ecclesiarchy. Regan, however, was also had a hidden psychosis that he managed to suppress among other people but could not suppress when he was alone, leading to him hunting rats and ripper-jacks in the sewers of the upper hive.

He would catch them in his jaws and then eat parts of the body, mutilating the corpses afterwards. Regan grew to despise the forced suppression of his psychosis, so it was a god send when a tau trader arrived and he was presented with a malcadon spryer suit.

He later joined a spryer team and went on a hunt down-hive. His first hunt was a great success and he gained acclaim from his peers as a blood thirsty killer that slaughtered without mercy and always managed to slaughter his full quota and often more. One fateful hunt his psychosis, now more often active, began to emerge as he slew more and more.

His team ran into a large orlock gang down-hive and a battle ensued. His friends were cut to shreds in the fire from the orlocks, the orus impaled by a lascannon bolt, the two yields being shot down by las bolts, the jakara of the group being shot with a heavy flamer. His psychosis emerged fully and he slaughtered all of the gang, mutilating the corpses and eating some of the body parts. He then ran onward to an orlock village and slaughtered 30 people, slitting their throats with the claws of his suit. He chained the bodies together and tied them to the main gate of the village as a warning to the rest of the hive.

When he emerged back up-hive, he was confronted by the arbeits, who demanded to know what had happened to the villagers. Shedding his suit, he ran for his life to the docking ports where he stole a ship and fled to the aphelion system.

When he arrived he led a normal life for 5 years before he encountered the Aballah, the dark messiah known only as Randall Flagg. He referred to himself as the Aballah and told Regan that the daemon, tak, needed sacrifices in order to ascend to the plain of godhood and that he had been selected as one of tak's chosen. This provided the dishevelled Regan with a new purpose in his life, as one of the chosen of the soon to be new god of humanity.

On the same day that the ship carrying Regan arrived, a virginal oracle in a village 200 miles away began to have spasming fits, screaming that the harvest would soon begin and they were living in the last days of their world. The psychic lash of the Aballah had caused her to have fits and hallucinogenic visions. She began to bleed from the eyes and the mouth, the flesh beginning to fall from her bones. Tyrus the witchhunter would later have this woman subjected to trial by weight imperial tarot. When he did this, the cards revealed that the emperor had sent a creature to the planet that would prove to be one of Tyrus great trials, a test from the emperor of his faith.

The oracle was put to death, as were all the guards of the oracle's temple in order to prevent the spread of the corrupting influences of chaos. It was at that time that the first wave of killings began. Victims were demographically sporadic, ranging from an 84-year-old guild banker to the 5-year-old daughter of an imperial guard lieutenant.

In all 12 people were killed, their corpses all linked by the fact that certain parts of their bodies had been eaten, such as their livers, their fingers and the feet in two cases. There in no doubt that there were some copycat killers operating at the time of the killings, but the majority were due to Regan, the first wave of sacrifices for the accession of tak.
Despite Tyrus best efforts, Regan went on killing for 5 years, some of the atrocities he committed in order to gain more scarifies were as follows:

The burning of E companies garrison: a garrison of 130 guardsmen was killed when their barracks were destroyed in a mass burning. Dallas channelled the power of the Aballah and used a pyromaniac invocation to set fire to the companies generator, which ran off natural gas.

Combined with the high methane and oxygen levels in the atmosphere of the planet, this caused the destruction of the entire garrison, also including the families of the 130 soldiers based there, in total the fatalities were 128 men dead, 232 children dead and 164 women and savants dead.

The Davin bombing campaign: located in the city of davin, the bombing campaign consisted to 23 car bombs in strategically located places such as the ecclesiarchy offices, the offices of the PDF and 4 schools. Total casualties were 400 civilians dead and 200 missing.

The hunter campaign: this consisted of the abduction of up to 300 children in a 5 year continet wide campaign of terror. The children were usually tortured, though not always, and then always killed, usually through strangulation, though some of the bodies found indicate that the throats were torn out with Dallas' teeth. Body parts were eaten, usually the rectum, leg and facial tissue, although some bodies had fingers, hands and internal organs missing. Some parts of the body were then sent back to the parents of the child, usually along with a blood stained note gloating over the child's death.

Eventually Flagg informed Dallas that it was time for the killings to end and for Dallas to take his place among the chosen of tak. Dallas decided to end his stay on the planet with a leaving present for the planets population. Boarding Hlokk's personal battleship, the defiant, he sent a single virus bomb down to the planets surface, killing thousands of people.

To this day, Dallas has served Hlokk and Tak well, propelled onwards by the thought of being on of the chosen, his sociopathic instincts telling him to cling on to the group to which he belongs, however, he is being chased by Tyrus, who believes he has failed, and when Tyrus finds Dallas, he is sure to find Hlokk and tak and discover their plan.

Equipment: 2 knives coated in blood-fire, rope, stubber.

Special rules:

Psychosis: take a will power test every turn on the roll of a 4+, if it is passed then nothing happens, if it is failed, the Regan succumbs to his psychosis and will move into assault with the nearest character, friend or foe. He also counts as being under the effects of psychon.

Cannibalism: if a character is taken out of action by Regan, then he will attempt to eat parts of the body. Roll for a hit location with no modifiers, then roll a strength test for Regan. If passed, that model's bodypart moves into the next damage bracket, if already in the critical bracket, the character looses that arm. Not this only applies to humanoid characters, not to bionics, aliens or daemons.

Background.. Basically, look up a 1920's murderer called Albert Fish if you want part of the background, that's where a lot of the ideas came from, as well as that, he is also partly based on the son of sam. Hope that makes sense.
