Inquisitor Logo

An Inquisitorial seal can close as many doors as it opens. It is often nessicary during the course of an investigation to take a different approach. One such way to gain access to people they wouldn't normally be able to get to is through brutal gameshows and local sporting events. By winning such events Inquisitorial warbands can gain the trust, money or standing needed to get to the dark underbelly of society.

Team Assault - Each player has a special vest which records hits to the torso. They use low power laser weapons to score hits on other teams and their bases. The aim is simple, whoever scores the most points in the time limit wins.

Arena Sport -Played in specially constructed arenas, particpants start with no weapons or equipment and must find what they can. The winner is the last man or last team standing.

Honour Fights -Although the fight itself is non-lethal, it doesn't mean you will walk away from an honour fight alive. The idea is to score as many points as possible in the alloted time or be the first to reach a certain total. Different locations have different point scores and combatants are armed with rubber coated batons. Failure to score a high enough value can lead to one or both of the players being stoned to death by the crowd.

Duels -Two players, one arena and no rules! The winner is the player who survives. Players start with whatever weaponry they can carry and usually finish up with none in this frantic battle for survival.

Showdown - This combat was inspired by some ancient texts describing Earth's mid-west America. The idea is simple. Participants start back to back and must walk 20 yards forward before turning, drawing their weapon and firing. The loser is the first character to fall to the floor.

Hover Jousts -Riding around on a hoverboard armed with little more than a wooden pole and a knife, you must knock your opponents to the ground. The winning player is the last one to hit the ground. Players lives are usually short as they break their neck when they hit the ground.

Paint Shot -This game is as much about luck as anything else. Armed with nothing more than one of the many designs of paintguns, the winning player is the last one left in the game. Players who sustain 3 hits are out of the game. A variation on this is the players are divided into teams and must capotur an opposing teams flag.

Wanted - Popular in the hives of Necromunda, this brutal gameshow pits teams against each other in a mad race for credits and survival. Each team consists of a runner and a tracker. The runners job is to evade enemy trackers whilst collecting credit chips, whilst the tracker is there to stop enemy runners collecting credits and remove them from the game if possible.

These events can serve as interesting scenarios, filler games and tournament matches. They allow players to use up some of their competative energy.
