Battle 1: Azo Proxcel VS Sileo Nox - Stephen Pearson

The sirens wailed and the lights flashed to signify the start of the battle. Sileo Nox was quick off the mark and headed for the nearest pick up point. He was disappointed to find a bonus chip rather than any weapons.
Azo Proxcel also dashed to the nearest pickup point where he discovered a vial of Slaught. Not what he was looking for but valuable none the less, pocketing the vial he set off for the next pickup point.
Sileo warily set off to find another pickup point. He was careful to look for any signs of his opponent. He almost couldn't believe his ears when he heard a cry of “Noooooooo…!” come from across the arena.
Azo had stumbled across a time warp and was now unable to move anywhere fast. Sileo quickly recovered his wits and was as lucky as Azo was cursed. He was gifted with Bullet Time at the next pick up point!
Azo slowly made his way across the arena, hoping to find a weapon soon. When he was gifted with a wrench, he found it hard to contain his glee. Now all he needed was someone from whom to steal teeth!
As Sileo sped his way across the arena he spotted his opponent and ducked behind the corner. He could clearly see Azo was armed, if a bit sluggish. Looking around he spotted a pick up point and dashed towards it.
Sileo was emboldened by the flak jacket and decided his superior speed and defences would give him a chance and charged the lumbering Azo. His first two punches swung wide, Sileo was not accustomed to being this quick, but his third landed square in Azo's face. Azo could only make a faint attempt at parrying the blow with his wrench.
The blow was a good one and left Azo stunned. Deciding that he couldn't defeat Azo with his fists alone Sileo set off to find something with a bit more power. The compact revolver, which fell into Sileo's hands at the next pick up point, suited him well.
He levelled it at Azo and emptied the clip. The first couple of shots were wide but the next three threw Azo to the ground. The hot lead in his arm, abdomen and groin left Azo unconscious.
With Sileo victorious, the sirens wailed and the lights flashed as the containment cages crashed down.
