After 30 years he has re-emerged on the eighth planet of the Mirus system – Extremis. Security scans indicate he has teamed up with Inquisitor Goelitz Aurora once more. Aurora was declared diabolus, 10 years ago, for his over-puritanical methods and has been on the run ever since. What ever they are planning is likely to be very bad. I cannot begin to recount the number of lives wasted the last time these two scum joined forces. To make matters worse much of Extremis' history is shrouded in secrecy and there is only so much that I can access. Originally a mining colony it was taken over by the Inquisition in M35. Behind the front of an orbital weapons platform dealers it was a training facility and research facility into bionic enhancement. Sometime in M36 the research got more serious and the records are heresy sealed from there on in. Research into old communications, purchase manifests and flight logs has shown the Adeptus Astartes visited the facility in early to mid-M37. Also interestingly the planet was used for thermo-nuclear testing in late M37 but wasn't visited again by the Inquisition till late M38 when the planet was declared prohibitus extremis. The scans I have been able to get completed suggest the base is swarming with people. Which for an empty abandoned base suggests whatever Aurora has planned must be big. I was able to uncover a few document headings related to those on Extremis that are sealed. 'Leander, Genius or Pawn of Chaos?' – Inquisitor Val Kare, Thorian 'A Treatise on Temporal Mechanics' – Inquisitor Kronos, Ordo undisclosed. The significance of these documents has not been determined but both documents suggest the work conducted on Extremis was of the direst nature. The safest way in has been determined to be the air ventilation system. Once inside the air vents you should head for the central distributor where an emergency safe room is hidden.
