This website is an attempt to create a guide to the available recordings, on different formats, by the U.S. recording artist Jimmy Ellis. Besides recording for numerous small record labels, Jimmy also recorded under the names Orion; Ellis James; Steven Silver and The Shadowman, making his releases difficult to track down.

Here's an interesting little item. Shelby Singleton sent these out purely as attention items. They can not be played. The record was pressed and the excess left on to give a melting effect, then they were sprayed both sides with the word "hot", great promotional idea. This was "Honey", he also did the same with the Reborn LP.
